1965 Falcon sedan delivery,
40 years later in
2017
Purchased this Falcon on February 14, 1977 from the University of Florida. They had purchased it to
deliver the University student newspaper twice a week. It
was poorly repainted white with Palomino interior, radio delete, 3.50
rear end ratio. It never left town. Had 6 cylinder engine and small 2.77 three speed transmission. In 1982 changed to a 1966 Falcon 200
engine so I could use a 1971 Maverick 3.03 column shift three speed transmission with synchronized first gear.
In 2003 changed to a 1970 Falcon 200 engine that had 63,000 miles and installed 1979 Granada 11 inch V8 front disk brakes. In 2006 installed
8 inch Maverick 2.79 rear axle w/ Lincoln brakes. A body shop replaced
the front floor with new panels. In 2007 replaced the gas tank. New machine shop
engine in 2014. In 2017, new steering and front suspension. |
